Editorial Policy

Learn how FlowForge AI evaluates AI software, verifies sources, manages affiliate links and distinguishes research guides from tested reviews.

FlowForge AI aims to help readers make informed decisions and build useful workflows. This page describes the editorial standards the site intends to follow. Review and adapt these standards to your actual process before publishing.

Independence and recommendations

Our recommendations should reflect task fit, documented evidence, usability, privacy considerations and limitations. Affiliate availability or commission size should not determine a product’s placement or recommendation.

Research and firsthand testing

We use official vendor documentation for product capabilities, current policies and basic facts. A research guide may discuss products without claiming they were hands-on tested. A hands-on review should only be published after testing has taken place and the method, date and relevant conditions can be described honestly.

AI-assisted content

AI may assist with outlines, summarization, organization and drafting. A human editor remains responsible for factual verification, source checking, original value, readability and publishing decisions. We do not intentionally present generated examples as real experiences.

Updates and corrections

Software changes frequently. Pages covering time-sensitive features should be reviewed when material changes occur. If a reader reports a factual mistake, the responsible editor should inspect reliable evidence and update the content if warranted. A “last reviewed” date should reflect a real review.

Affiliate and sponsored relationships

Commercial relationships should be disclosed clearly and in context. Affiliate links should be marked with the appropriate link attributes, including rel="sponsored" where relevant. Sponsored editorial material should be identified as sponsored.

Product ratings and comparisons

Numerical ratings, performance tables, screenshots and test results should not appear unless there is a traceable methodology and actual evidence. Comparisons should use consistent criteria and mention which readers might not benefit from a product.
